We had a large group for a retirement party. The food was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. In the general the menu is excellent and varried. In an area with several excellent choices, this is one of the best..
I have been here for years. The portions are shrinking and shrinking. I had the duck main course. They served me a child’s portion. It was five tiny pieces of duck. Terrible I feel violated. Plus the dessert was similarly tiny. Cheesecake that on the child’s menu. I think they can not make money and are screwing the loyal customers beyond belief. It’s sad that a Lambertville great has fallen this far. I will never come back!!!!
The food was very good but there was a problem with my gift card. I went back twice to rectify the situation. The first time I went back, around noon, nobody could help me because the gift card was locked in the safe. I returned around 5:00pm and waited for them to locate the gift card that didn't go through for $100. I sat there and called the gift card company and never spoke with a human being. I was left to press 1 press 2 etcetera for what seemed to be an eternity. I confirmed that indeed there was $100 on the gift card twice. I left the restaurant leaving them the gift card and telling them they didn't process the transaction correctly. A male staff member and the manager chased me out screaming after me that I didn't pay my bill. I was embarrassed beyond words. The male staff member heard the confirmation, (which he later denied hearing although I was next to him and my phone was on speaker)From the gift card company that there was $100 available on the card. The manager was rude and accusatory as if I was purposely stealing from him. At their insistence I paid in cash. I will never return to this restaurant where staff chase down patrons and embarrass them. A truly humiliating experience. NEVER DINE THERE
Not the match of Bouley and Eleven Madison Park, but one of the best restaurants in the area. We have been there twice, recently and nearly ten years ago, and both times it was wonderful. The art is across the walls, eclectic and interesting, the service was attentive, and the food was excellent
