Monday night dinners with Dish at Lambertville House are always excellent. Food quality and flavors are amazing. Portions are small, but I prefer small portions of great food over huge plates of mediocre cuisine. Given the four courses, I never leave hungry. We also like the staff, who are friendly and helpful.
Our waitress was super friendly...and that's where the service stopped. We came in for a snack & cocktail and it took and hour for our Mediterranean sampler plate to ever come out. The kitchen was insanely slow. Cut some pits bread, open a jar of olives & a jar of roasted red peppers, and scoop out some hummus. Done. 10 minutes at most. Then when offered a little bit more pita bread to finish our hummus, another 15-20 minutes gone and an extra charge on the bill. I do not recommend this place nor will I ever return. Two hours of my life that I'll never get back.
I only sat at the bar, but the food, the staff, everything about this establishment was amazing. Everyone was friendly, staff and patrons. If I had to plan to bring my girlfriend or family to restaurant over the holidays, I would definitely choose the Lamberville House, but unfortunately, I already have plans :/
We love stopping here for a quiet drink when visiting Lambertville. Nice bar, with only drawback being the size (what do you want though? It was built hundreds of years ago!) Food is good, and if it's sm warmer weather, the front porch is pleasant.
Lovely little place with a great art gallery shared on the restaurant floor (Ruane Manning). Sat on the quaint porch and enjoyed some wine and appetizers. Service was great.
