The most awful owner. Always complains that she is even open. Give her service every week but still treats customers like dirt. In personal opinion, she is very lucky she is the only bagel place around as anyone that moves into the area that even opens at regular times and has good business skills will run her out of town. Most recently had an encounter where she had a basket full of bagels and would only sell one because she made one batch for the day and had to "allocate".
Good bagels, for NJ. Owner is hardworking and very nice. Can't attest to the coffee never had it here. Had BEC on Everything bagel, was delicious. Store and cooking equipment were clean. Have been back numerous times always happy, and so is the family when a dozen bagels lands on the table.
This place is a new found love staff is super friendly, and food is great. They know how to make a REAL everything bagel with pretzel salt on top, and it’s fully coated with everything not just a dash of this and that. Here’s a quick way to tell if anyplace is good, if they run out of something you know it’s good!!! I prefer to place my order in advance then go and pick it up, this seems to be the best time saving way as they seem to be a little lite staffed. That’s not a mark against them at all, they prefer to work a little harder and I like that! By the way the coffee is really flavorful, and she always has something fun to try coffe wise. Coffees gonna run ya about 2bucks but well worth it!!!
I would definitely listen to the lower reviews on here. Longtime New Jersey resident and lover of pork roll egg and cheese. The breakfast sandwich is going to run you about $5, and I got two very thin slices of pork roll with a single egg. The woman behind the counter tries to be friendly but is certainly not a morning person and gives no sense of happiness
Love the place and owner! Bagels are freshly house made each morning and if you come early enough you could grab one while it's still hot. It's a cute local place as well and bagels are modest priced. My best advice is to stick with the bagels/breakfast foods, you can never go wrong with an egg and cheese on a bagel or power bagel and coffee there!
